Major US tech companies, including Black Magic Design, have expressed eagerness to invest in Kenya’s broadcasting sector, showcasing a vote of confidence in the country’s potential.

Principal Secretary Edward Kisiang’ani explored groundbreaking technologies at the NAB Show, an annual trade show produced by the National Association of Broadcasters in the USA, highlighting their potential to revolutionize Kenya’s broadcast industry.

The Principal Secretary observed that the new technology in radio and television displayed can be used to revolutionalise Kenya’s broadcast industry.

“The application of the displayed technology and should be embraced by our broadcast media outlets, including KBC, to improve the efficiency in communicating the government agenda”. He said.

The Kenya Kwanza agenda communication depends on the industry’s technological capacity and state-of-the-art equipment.

The NAB Show 2024 offers insights into the future of media and entertainment, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and high-resolution displays.
