Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged religious leaders to pray for President William Ruto as he selects individuals to serve in his Cabinet, emphasizing the importance of appointing patriotic and dedicated officials.
Addressing mourners at the burial of Bishop Allan Kiuna in JCC Thindigua, Kiambu, Gachagua highlighted the significance of the President’s decisions in shaping the country’s trajectory.
Gachagua stated, “Please pray for our president to pick the right people… A leader is as good as a team that supports that leader, that is why we fully support him. Our president needs your prayers.”
President Ruto recently dissolved the Cabinet, retaining Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi while expressing his commitment to selecting a new team through extensive consultations.
The call for prayers made by Gachagua follows the President’s own appeal to the Church for guidance in appointing new officials to help lead the nation towards progress and financial independence.
