The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 684 vacancies across various ministries and state departments.

A notice by the PSC, published on Tuesday made public that qualified and interested Kenyans have until February 13, 2024, to submit their applications.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission’s website or jobs portal,” the Commission’s CEO said.

The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration is seeking to recruit at least 22 county commissioners/secretaries administration and a deputy director, Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership.

The Immigration and Citizen Services Department is seeking to hire a secretary for Refugee Affairs, Five directors of Civil Registration Services, 17 deputy directors of Civil Registration Services and 80 assistant directors of Civil Registration Services.

The State Department for Correctional Services – Kenya Prisons Services is also hiring a deputy Commissioner General of Prisons.

The National Treasury, Livestock Department and Defense departments are also recruiting a Director of General Public Debt Management, Director of Veterinary Services and Director/Senior Research Fellow/Senior lecturer respectively.

Under the State Department for Industry, some 135 director and assistant directors’ job vacancies are up for grabs in various departments.

In Public Service and Delivery Management, 43 positions are open.

The Labour and Skills development department is also looking to fill 182 positions in different departments.

The State Department for Parliamentary Affairs also announced 22 open vacancies, while the Petroleum Department is seeking to fill the position of Commissioner for Petroleum.

Under the Mining department, there are 167 open vacancies in various departments.

The State Department for Irrigation is also seeking to fill the position of Secretary, Land Reclamation, Climate Resilience and Irrigation Water Management.
