The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced exciting career opportunities in its management training program, inviting energetic and talented individuals to apply.
In an official communication released on Tuesday via the My Gov platform, KPLC expressed its desire to recruit “brilliant, dynamic, and self-driven people eager to make a difference.”
The company is seeking candidates for various positions, including electrical, civil, mechanical, and mechatronics engineers, as well as geospatial engineers, accountants, legal officers, and corporate communication officers. “This is a chance for young professionals to join a result-oriented team,” KPLC stated.
Ideal applicants must be 30 years old or younger by August 31, 2024, and preferably graduates from recognized institutions in 2020. Successful candidates will embark on an 18-month structured training program, which includes classroom learning, mentorship, hands-on projects, and rotations across multiple departments. “On successful completion, they will be absorbed into specific functions of the Company,” KPLC explained.
