Parents in ASAL Regions Happy with Govt’s SEQUIP Program

As a parent in Marsabit, one of the country’s hot and dry places, I am very happy about the Kenya Kwanza government’s SEQUIP program. It’s making a big difference for our kids, giving them a better shot at a good education.

Life here hasn’t been easy. The weather is tough, resources are scarce, and our schools didn’t have much. But with this program, our children’s lives will be greatly changed because of this. The programs is giving our children a chance at a good education and a brighter future.

One thing I really like about SEQUIP is that it’s fixing up our schools. Our classrooms used to be falling apart, and there weren’t enough books or good teachers. But now, SEQUIP is building new classrooms, getting better books, and helping teachers become even better at their jobs. Our kids can now get a quality education.

This program evidently cares for both boys and girls as seen in the construction of schools for both genders. It’s making sure that both can go to school and do well. In our area, sometimes girls didn’t get the same chances as boys, but SEQUIP is changing that.

In short, SEQUIP is a big deal for us parents in Kenya’s hot and dry areas. It’s making our kids’ lives better, and we’re thankful to the government for doing this. We’re excited to see how it helps our kids grow and succeed in the future. We can clearly see that President Ruto and his government are adamant at keeping the promise to make education accessible to all Kenyans from all walks of life.
