President William Ruto has lashed out at Opposition leader Raila Odinga for criticising his efforts to seek jobs for Kenyans abroad, maintaining maintained that the government will still proceed with the plan whether he rallies against him or not.

Speaking to residents in Nkubu, Meru county on Saturday, January 27, 2024, the Head of State told off the opposition chief for criticizing his efforts and wondered why the Azimio leader was against the move when it was meant to eradicate joblessness in the country.

”Naskia mtu ya kitendawili anasema ati nisipeleke wakenya wafanye kazi ngambo kwani anataka wafanye kazi mahali gani? Bure kabisa!” Ruto said.

He further called on all leaders to join in the course and help the jobless youths secure employment.
