In a display of solidarity with President William Ruto’s agenda, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday affirmed his commitment to the head of state as he advances key initiatives aimed at transforming the nation.
Speaking in Kericho County on Thursday, Gachagua described President Ruto as the country’s pillar, under whose leadership a battered economy stabilised.
”I am here today to defend him. He is not just a leader; he is our pillar. Under President Ruto’s leadership, we have witnessed a significant drop in the prices of key household items,” the DP said.
Reaffirming allegiance to the ruling party, the DP also underscored UDA’s dedication to strengthening its foundations as it recruits more members countrywide.
“We take pride in our party, UDA, and are fully committed to fortifying it,” declared Gachagua, aligning with the party’s ideology of bottom-up economic empowerment.
President William Ruto today began a two-day development tour of Kericho and Bomet counties where he is expected to launch a series of projects, as well as inspect some that have been ongoing.
The projectsut across all sectors of the economy and are all aimed at delivering the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), whose goal is to positively impact the lives of all Kenyans.
