Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha, has been appointed to the World Economic Forum’s Global Alliance for Women’s Health Board in Geneva, Switzerland. The board’s primary objective is to advance the agenda for women’s health, equity, and economic empowerment on a global scale.

Expressing her gratitude, Nakhumicha stated, “Honoured to represent Kenya as a member of @WEF’s Global Alliance for Women’s Health Board. The objective of the Board is to advance women’s agenda on health, equity, and economic empowerment.” She emphasized the critical role of investing in women’s health, asserting, “An investment in women’s health is vital in the building of thriving societies and economies globally.”

In her commitment to Kenya’s prioritization of women’s health, Nakhumicha affirmed, “Through this forum, I will continue to champion, amplify, and advocate Kenya’s commitment to prioritising women’s health and their well-being.”
