The National Government Administration is set to address staffing gaps within its extensive administrative structure, comprising 8 Regions, 47 Counties, 378 Sub-Counties, 982 Divisions, 3955 Locations, and 9045 Sub-Locations.
These vacancies have arisen due to various reasons, including natural attrition, officer dismissals following legal resolutions, promotions to higher offices, voluntary resignations, and redesignations of office holders.
To ensure these positions are swiftly filled, plans are underway to recruit and deploy Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs. In cases where interviews have already concluded, the government commits to filling the vacancies within 90 days.
This initiative not only aims to maintain the functionality of the administrative system but also to ensure efficient governance and service delivery throughout the various administrative levels in the country. It underscores the government’s commitment to effective public service and governance.
