As part of the mandate of the Ministry to deliver more jobs for the unemployed Kenyan population, the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Hon Florence Bore is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to follow up and to discuss the challenges in Labour Migration between the Government of Kenya and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The CS and the government will also unlock the bottlenecks in an effort to ensure a seamless Labour Migration process and Increase the number of workers in the Kingdom.
Cabinet Secretary Bore is in KSA to also participate in the Global Labour Market Conference.
The Cabinet Secretary held fruitful discussions with the Coordination Council for Recruitment Companies (CCRC), Mega Recruitment Companies and their affiliates.

This meeting is a follow up on a previous one held in Nairobi early this year.
Kenya has finalized negotiations on the revised Bilateral Labour Agreement for Domestic Workers and will in the next few days sign the Draft Agreement.

The Pre-departure training has also been aligned with Ministry of Labour and Social Protection continuing to be hands on, even as the goal is to support the Kenyan migrant worker and the accredited agencies for the success of the Labour Migration process.
