President Ruto also highlighted key initiatives, including the Affordable Housing Programme, aimed at creating jobs and providing homes for Kenyans. He assured the public of his government’s focus on long-term policies to transform the economy and address the country’s economic challenges.

Furthermore, the President addressed the collapse of public sugar factories, attributing it to mismanagement and debts. He pledged to support the sugar industry with a proposed allocation of KSh3 billion to aid farmers in producing for local consumption and export, aiming to revitalize the sector and alleviate the suffering of farmers.
