Student in Grades 8 and 6 today have started their national examinations, KCPE and KPSEA.

Speaking to KBC, Principal Secretary Dr. Kipsang has ensured the public that better and tighter security measures have been employed this year to aid in the seamless exercising of this exercise.

The Ministry of Education has increased the number of collection points to 82, aligning them to proximity of pick up points rather than the previous system based on the sub-county level pick-ups. Schools all over the country will greatly appreciate the Ministry’s efforts in easing their collection processes during this examination period.

Dr. Kipsang has assured all the necessary measures have been put in place to ensure integrity and security are upheld.

Security has also been increased especially in volatile areas with more than 65,000 police officers deployed all over the country.

This morning, President Ruto paid a visit to the candidates of Kikuyu Township Primary School as they officially start the exams. The President has wished all the candidates the very best in their examinations, praying for their success.

He has assured all Kenyans children that he and his government are with them in this journey and have provided enough space for their progress in education.
