The CS to the Ministry of Tourism, Hon. Mutua has ignited the spark of hope to young Kenyans in Kilifi and the surrounding regions as he called for the fast tracking of construction in the Ronald Ngala Utalii College.

The school has been under construction for a while, without completion, much of the dismay of the people who are looking forward to enroll upon its completion.

While expressing his disappointment in this delay, Hon. Mutua has called for the school’s essential building to be given priority. Classes and administration buildings, social hall, dining hall and one or two student accommodation blocks are to be given the first priority to ensure students can join as early as March of 2024.

Hon. Mutua, while at the handover to the Ministry of Tourism, stated that the right human capital is key in achieving the country’s goals. He made an assurance to have key stakeholders all trained and upskilled to deliver on this critical target of 5 million visitors.

Institutions such as the Ronald Ngala Utalii College will play a significant role in ensuring the country has a well-trained and qualified personnel to cater to the needs of the targeted number of visitors.

The call to fasten the construction is a beacon of hope for many Kenyans who are passionate about the hospitality and tourism sectors who wish to train and upscale their skill.
