President Ruto and Deputy President Gachagua are in Meru County, launching projects aimed at promoting development and improving livelihoods, specifically focusing on education infrastructure and the dairy subsector in agriculture.

The tour commenced at Mitunguu Technical Training Institute, where President Ruto launched the construction of a modern tuition block and handed over a bus to the institution to facilitate transportation for learners and staff.

The President and his Deputy will attend a Dairy Farmers Field Day at Mitunguu, officially opening a dairy farmers’ Feed Mill project and laying the foundation stone for Meru Maziwa Millers Ltd. They will visit the Meru Dairy Union Factory in Meru Town, meeting with the company’s Board of Management and touring the factory.

The tour will conclude with the President and his Deputy attending the 9th Annual Dairy Farmers Field Day Celebrations at Gitoro Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Ground in Imenti Central.
