KUCCPS application deadline had been set for Monday, February 26th.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has yet again extended the application deadline for courses.

In a notice dated Sunday, April 25, the placement service announced that it was extending the application period indefinitely until it ascertains that all students eligible have made their applications.

“The application deadline, which was set for February 26, 2024, has been extended until KUCCPS ascertains that all targeted students have applied,” read the statement in part.

”Since payments for Government services have been migrated to the eCitizen platform, the process of payment validation for the KUCCPS application is longer than before. Applicants are advised to avoid making double payments,” added the statement.

“The processing of applications for placement will start once KUCCPS is sure all applicants have submitted their course choices based on the targeted number of students. Therefore, no one will be disadvantaged on the basis of the day or time they made their applications.”

KUCCPS further indicated that after the first placement exercise, there will be two revision opportunities that will be provided for students who will not have applied, or those who will not have secured their selected courses, to reapply.
