Internal Security PS Dr. Raymond Omollo, as the Patron of the Kenya Police Football Club, met with players and stakeholders yesterday, Thursday, 23rd November 2023, to discuss the initiation of a youth development program within the club. The meeting aimed to bring sponsors on board to further grow the club as a platform for nurturing talent among young police officers.

During the meeting, Dr. Omollo emphasized the importance of developing players and enhancing infrastructure within the club. He urged potential sponsors to consider incorporating rehabilitation and diverse career opportunities for the youth, both within and outside the Police Service. This approach aims to not only provide financial support but also to offer avenues for personal and professional growth for the young members of the Police Service.

The decision to initiate a youth development drive within the Kenya Police Football Club is of great importance as it not only aims to elevate the club but also signifies a broader commitment to enriching the lives of the country’s youth. It will have a positive socio-economic impact within the Police Service and beyond, tapping into the enormous talent within the National Police Service’s youthful population. This initiative will not only benefit the young Kenyans in the security force but also have a significant impact on sports development in the country.
