Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday, March 3, 2024 issued a stern directive to security agencies in Laikipia County, demanding an immediate end to the prevailing insecurity in the region.

Speaking passionately at Ng’arua Holy Family Catholic Parish, Gachagua emphasized the crucial need to restore peace and stability, affirming, “The Ruto Administration will not tolerate any laxity in addressing the security challenges affecting Laikipia’s development potential.”

In a resolute stance, Gachagua invoked President Ruto’s commitment to eradicating insecurity as pledged during the 2022 campaigns, asserting, “We intend to keep that promise. There is no room for discussion.”

Reflecting on his past experience as a District Officer in Ng’arua, he highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between security agencies and the community to combat threats effectively.
