Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua earlier this morning engaged residents of Mombasa whom he came across during his morning walk.

Gachagua said his healthy morning walk in the coastal city was a moment of interaction with hardworking hustlers, whom he said are immensely contributing to Kenya’s economic growth.

“For Mama Asha Sidi Chengo, waking up early to bake and sell mandazi and hot tea along Mama Ngina Drive helps meet the needs of her family,” the DP said.

“It was equally encouraging to engage with groups of youthful men as they started off their day’s hustle at a construction site, defying the drizzle in building our nation.”

H.E Gachagua said the government is deliberate and resolute in its commitment to creating an enabling environment for all hustles to thrive.
