Defence Cabinet Secretary Adan Duale has issued a strong statement, declaring a firm stance against drug trafficking and contraband in schools, including those supported by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). Speaking at the unveiling of a new dormitory at Moi Forces Academy, Duale emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating illicit activities.
Duale stated, “We will not tolerate drug trafficking in our schools. The Ministry of Defence will collaborate closely with local authorities and security agencies to expel wrongdoers and eradicate these harmful elements.”
Highlighting the ministry’s zero-tolerance policy towards such activities in KDF-sponsored schools, Duale praised Moi Forces Academy for its academic excellence and consistent performance. He expressed pride in the institution’s dedication to education and emphasized the importance of upholding high standards.
