Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has called upon inmates at the Shimo La Tewa Borstal Institution to embrace change and strive for a brighter tomorrow. Visiting the facility and addressing the 204 boys undergoing rehabilitation, Pastor Dorcas emphasized the importance of reform and education in shaping their destinies beyond the confines of the correctional facility.

While addressing the inmates Pastor Dorcas stated, “When you change your mindset and undergo reformation during your time here, you will return to society as better individuals. Your transformation can positively impact the lives of others. Take advantage of the technical training provided to you.”

During her visit, Pastor Dorcas donated textbooks, laboratory equipment, and computers to enhance the educational opportunities for the boys. The institution’s head, SSP Jostinah Mwang’ombe, and Close the Gap Founder Baron Olivier expressed their commitment to supporting Pastor Dorcas’s efforts to uplift the lives of these young men.
