The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary, Hon Florence Bore yesterday spearheaded a significant event where she flagged off over 500 migrant workers to various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Germany, Qatar, and Dubai.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as the workers eagerly gathered at the National Employment Agency offices in Kasarani, Nairobi, awaiting their departure.

This event was lauded as clear testament to the commitment as Government in the significant journey of creating employment opportunities for Kenyans in various countries with a high demand for labour.

During the event, both the Cabinet Secretary and the Principal Secretary, Shadrack Mwadime, addressed the workers, expressing their best wishes and offering words of encouragement.

They emphasized the importance of representing Kenya with pride and maintaining a stellar reputation by diligently carrying out their assigned tasks.

CS Florence Bore expressed her joy at the opportunities that have opened up for the many Kenyans present, providing them with a chance to explore new horizons and make a positive impact in their chosen fields.

“We sincerely hope you will excel in your new endeavors and find success and fulfillment in your respective roles”, she said.
