Govt to Relocate KCSE Candidates in Flooded Schools

Dr. Belio Kipsang has said the government will relocate KCSE candidates whose schools have been submerged with flood waters to neighboring schools where they can sit for exams without inconveniences.

This will ensure that students in flooded areas will continue as usual and that they complete their national exams.

Form four students all over the country started their national examinations today.

As was with the primary school examinations in the past week, the government is ensuring security especially in the bandit prone areas, is increased to protect the candidates.

The government deployed more 67,000 police all over the country to facilitate this security.

 He said this earlier today in Westlands when he handed over 2023 KCSE exams to the Principal of Kenya High School.

President Ruto has promised the candidates that his government has ensured there are numerous opportunities for the Kenyan children on completion of their primary and secondary education.

The government has continued to hire tutors and teachers at the TVETs as well overseen the construction and renovations of more vocational training institutes.
