President Ruto has also on numerous occasions encouraged and urged women to make use of the opportunities such as the existence of the Women Enterprise Fund to grow their communities. H.E President Ruto made a commitment to ensure that all women in the country are empowered, regardless of their social standing or education.

Women groups can access the WEB easily by clicking *254#, the same USSD code that individuals and groups can access the Hustler Fund.

In line to the Kenya Kwanza’s goal to empower the Kenyan women, the government has released 946 Million Shillings that women groups now have access to.

The Women Enterprise Fund serves to remove the hurdles commercial lenders would put in place for these women.

The interest rates are favorable, allowing the women to do more with their capital.

With the release of the 946 Million, more and more women will be empowered to grow not their households the communities they exist in.

As President Ruto says, empowering a Kenyan woman is empowering a nation.
