President Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza government has continuously displayed a commitment to empowering the Kenyan young people through education.

Steps such as the increased recruitment of teachers and tutors to bridge the human resource challenges that had previously engulfed learning institutions and increased funding to schools are a few examples.

In more efforts to support learners in the country, the Principal Secretary for the State Department of Gender Anne Wang’ombe earlier today facilitated the disbursement of bursaries with 13.1 Million Shilling to successful applicants in Nairobi.

These bursaries will shield many Kenyan learners from the challenge of missing out on a quality education due to lack of funds.

The bursaries will benefit students in secondary schools and tertiary institutions across the 85 wards of Nairobi City County.

At the event, PS Wangombe reiterated that the State Department for Gender will continue to play a pivotal role in addressing the plight of vulnerable groups in the society in accordance to the values set in the Bottom Up Transformation Agenda.

NGAAF stands steadfast in its dedication to creating positive change, offering citizen-centric services, and ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive.
