H.E President Ruto earlier today met the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the 28th session of the Conference of Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai.

Kenya and the United Arab Emirates enjoy long-standing relations founded in history and rich cultural ties. Through these associations coupled with Dubai’s strategic location in the globe as the commercial and trading hub.

“We aim at establishing a more robust trade connection that will expand the value of our country’s exports that stand at Sh34.6 billion,” President Ruto stated during the talks.

The two countries will also exploit their long-standing relations to enhance bilateral investments.

President Ruto also held talks with the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani. The two presidents discussed on steps forward in enhancing the countries’ relations.

Both made a commitment to paving the way for stronger cooperation between the countries.

“We will continue to work closely together to bring our peace-loving peoples close,” stated President Vjosa Osmani.

The two leaders agreed to work together on issues of common interest.
