President William Ruto has praised Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his unwavering commitment to steering Zimbabwe towards prosperity. During a dinner hosted by Mnangagwa in his honor, Ruto commended the bold reforms undertaken by the Zimbabwean leader, stating, “The evidence of your determination to steer the nation of Zimbabwe into prosperity is abundant, obvious, and inspiring.”

Ruto further praised Mnangagwa’s efforts to promote agricultural productivity and critical infrastructure development, emphasizing the potential benefits of collaboration between Kenya and Zimbabwe. He highlighted the importance of bilateral relations in enhancing trade, investment, and economic growth for both nations.

In response, Mnangagwa expressed appreciation for Ruto’s support in denouncing sanctions imposed on African countries, noting the Kenyan President’s vocal stance on the issue.
