President William Ruto fulfilled his pledge by donating a Sh10 million bus to St Joseph Mutumbu Girls School in Gem, Siaya County.

The school community, including students, teachers, and management, expressed immense joy upon receiving this generous gift on Tuesday.

“H.E the President Dr William Ruto has committed to keep his promises to the people of Gem,” declared Odhiambo, highlighting the President’s dedication to fulfilling commitments. He further shared the President’s words, “We have today, as the President promised, received a brand-new bus for Mutumbu Girls school.”

President Ruto had pledged the bus during his visit to the Nyanza region last October, where he also attended a Thanksgiving celebration for the MP. Odhiambo mentioned the progress of other promised projects, including the upgrade of Akala market, expressing gratitude to the President and affirming continued collaboration.

During his visit, Ruto assured Siaya County residents of comprehensive development initiatives, emphasizing inclusivity in his governance approach. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring every region in Kenya benefits from development under his leadership.
