On many occasions, H.E President Ruto has declared that his government is one that is built on service to the people. Earlier this year at the signing of the Performance Contracts by the Cabinet Secretaries, the DP reiterated the government’s drive to improve service delivery and being held accountable by the Kenyan people.

In line with the President and Deputy President’s sentiments, the Ministry of Public Service will be launching the Wajibika Town Hall Forums.

Wajibika Town Hall Forums which will be held across the 47 counties in the country dubbed “Taking the Government to the People.”

These forums will provide a platform for Kenyans to review government performance on various programs and projects in their regions and establish a scorecard.

The forums will have two major benefits to the Kenyan people.

  1. Awareness of Government Projects and Programs.

These forums will be the perfect platforms to create awareness of ongoing and incoming government projects that many Kenyans may not be aware of due to various reasons. The common Mwananchi will be in the loop of the projects near them and how they benefit and better their lives. This will be a major win to the Kenyans.

  • Accountability.

The people will be able to follow up and keep up with the promises made by their leaders. The forums will provide a platform to ask questions on the progress made, the hurdles the government might experience as well as the avenues in which Kenyans can participate in the enable the government realize its goals.

The BETA Plans stands on the pillar of service delivery from the grassroots. Wajibika Town Halls Forums will provide the common Mwananchi with the platform to be in the light about the government’s plans for them.
