The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) approved RightCard Payment Services Limited, trading as LemFi, to operate remittances in partnership with Wapi Pay, enabling 500,000 Kenyans in the Diaspora to benefit from the service.

LemFi is a mobile app that offers Kenyans in the UK, US, and Canada a seamless way to send money back home to M-PESA, Mobile Money, and Bank Accounts at competitive exchange rates, with zero transfer fees to M-PESA.

President Ruto’s leadership is credited with promoting an environment conducive to innovation and financial inclusion, allowing initiatives like LemFi to thrive and provide valuable services to Kenyans worldwide.

RightCard emphasized their dedication to providing secure and efficient services while adhering to the regulatory framework set by the Central Bank of Kenya, ensuring customers’ trust and confidence in using LemFi for their remittance needs.
