In a move aimed at fulfilling President Ruto’s promise of creating more job opportunities for Kenyans, the Government has announced 789 vacancies across various ministries and state departments. The Public Service Commission (PSC) has called for qualified and interested individuals to apply for these positions, with the deadline set for March 19, 2024.

“We are committed to providing employment opportunities for our citizens and encourage all eligible candidates to apply through the commission’s website by March 19,” stated the CEO of the Public Service Commission.

Among the open positions, the Ministry of Health is looking to hire a Director General of Health, while the State Department for Health and Professional Standards is seeking to recruit senior officials for key roles in health management services. Additionally, the state departments for ASALS, Public Service, Livestock Development, and Mining are also offering various job opportunities in different fields.

This initiative not only addresses the immediate need for skilled professionals in the public sector but also aligns with the government’s broader vision of boosting job creation and economic growth in the country. Interested applicants can find detailed job descriptions and application requirements on the PSC’s website.
