Celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Kenya at the Global Trading Center (GTC) marked a significant historical landmark in trade, people-to-people relations, and diplomatic collaboration between the two nations.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi recognized the enduring cooperation between China and Kenya, highlighting steady, cooperative, and mutually beneficial ties that have driven shared prosperity and understanding.
”Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two Nations, our relationship has grown by bounds and leaps and I have no doubt that it will continue to advance through shared prosperity and mutual understanding,” PCS Mudavadi said.
Over six decades, China and Kenya have cultivated warm relations through mutual understanding, resulting in notable projects like the Standard Gauge Railway, Thika Superhighway, and other infrastructure developments, facilitated by China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), ultimately empowering Kenya’s socio-economic growth and global competitiveness.
