Ruto Hosts Azerbaijan Minister for Ecology at State House

President William Ruto yesterday, Thursday, 29^th February 2024, held a meeting with Azerbaijan Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Bahadur Babayev at State House Nairobi.

Ruto emphasized, “The gains from the COP28 conference in Dubai last year provide the best platform so far to advance global climate action.”

He highlighted the importance of sustaining progress as they prepare for this year’s United Nations climate conference.

Additionally, Ruto revealed that Azerbaijan will host COP29 in Baku, emphasizing the country’s commitment to global climate initiatives.
